There is a good news that after 26 years Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor will be seen again on the big screen. The film is on a drama of Gujarati Writer-director Soumya Joshi’s ‘102 Not Out’. In the film Amitabh is 102 year old person and the his son Rishi is 75-year-old.
Shooting of the film started on this Wednesday in Mumbai. Umesh Shukla is directing the film. Umesh said, ‘Amit ji and Rishi ji are coming together after 26 years. Both will be seen in Gujarati characters for the first time. I am a Gujarati myself, so there were some things in my mind about the look of both of them.
The film will be shot in Mumbai till the end of this month. After that the shooting will begin in July. Filmmakers want to finish shooting till the end of July. The film will show the love story between a father and a son.
Umesh said, ‘I had produced the real drama and I knew that it can be converted into a good film. Saumya has written the story of the film best.
Umesh further said, “Amitabh and Rishi will speak some lines in Gujarati. He is good in this language and he has also been given a tutor for help. Working with them is very fun. I grew up watching their films. Both are very good actors and both have their own style of working. We had a three-four-day workshop last month, which was very fun.
As we know that Umesh Shukla had earlier made ‘All Is Well’, in which Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak were in lead role.
