In the first qualifier of the IPL-10, Washington Precious played a key role in getting the final ticket to Rising Pune Superjaint. In a 20-run win against Mumbai Indians, this uppermost off spinner took 3 for 16 in 4 overs. Thanks to his performance, he made two big records in IPL together.

1.Washington Sunder made record of Man of the Match award at the youngest of the IPL. He became the IPL player who achieved this record in 17 years and 223 days. No player was given the man of the match before the age of 18.
