In view of the incidents of communal violence in Saharanpur, Section 144 has been imposed in whole city. Administration has ordered mobile companies to ban messages and social media. Internet, messaging and social media were used to spread anti-social rumors and misleading information. On the other hand, the injured person is being treated as critical because of the bullet on yesterday. In this case, a case is being registered against unknown person and is being investigated.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appealed today to ignore the statements made by the bad elements of the state. He said that some people are not able to digest the efforts made by the state government in the interest of the state. Such people are trying to spoil the atmosphere of peace in the state. Taking seriously the violence in Saharanpur, the UPA Government removed DM and SSP, while the transferred the Deputy Inspector General of Police. Pramod Kumar Pandey has been appointed as the new District Magistrate, while Bablu Kumar has been appointed new police chief in Saharanpur.
The police and administration’s efforts to handle the situation of violence took place on yesterday in the Janata Road area of Saharanpur, in which a youth was shot dead. The police is investigating this matter. On the other hand, the home secretary, ADG law and order, IG and the DIG, who reached Saharanpur, went to the hospital after a review meeting in the police line along with the local officials including the SSP, to see the injured.
So far, 24 people have been arrested in this case. About 10 people are being questioned in custody. In this incident 15 people are injured. All the injured have been admitted to the district hospital. After the BSP supremo Mayawati’s visit, a case has been registered against 3 people in the case of death of a man.
